In Memory
of Our Beloved Mother
"But the fruit
of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control..."
Galatians 5:22-23
Ruth Blanche Fisher
Ruth Blanche Fisher passed away peacefully in her sleep
surrounded by her family on December 25, 2003 at the age of 57. She was the
beloved wife of Harry Fisher, loving mother of Michael, Mark, and Matthew,
loving mother-in-law of Tara and Cassie, and loving grandmother of
Christina, Jacob, Caleb, and Julianne. She is also survived by her siblings
Paul Jackson, Lois Concannon, Peggy Colvin and Betty Jones and their
families and a large number of relatives and loved ones. Her family was her
pride and joy, especially her grandchildren, and her love for life and God
shown through in everything she did. Her ability to find joy and beauty in
everything that life put before her was a true inspiration. Her caring,
giving heart was a mirror image of her mothers and brought great joy and
love to all that knew her. Through her 10 years of service at
Creekside Community Church she was able to touch the lives of
so many and we will all miss her deeply. She now sits in heaven, with her
parents at her side, with no pain or suffering, waiting for the day when she
will see us all together again. Private family burial services will be held
at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette on Tuesday, Dec. 30. A memorial will
be held for all those who would like to attend at Creekside Community Church
in Alamo on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 11:30AM.
